Our goal is to bring awareness to the community of individuals needing to transition back into our community and into society in general. Also to be able to bring awareness to the community of the ongoing problem of people continually going back to jail because of not having any hope and lack of basic resources available to them.
Chain Breaker Ministry works with citizens in the Missoula County Detention Center, Montana State Prison System, and other regional Detention Facilities by interacting with incarcerated men and women, as well as, the Detention officers developing personal relationships and relaying the love of Christ. This Ministry is currently facilitating the organization and focus of religious ministries coming into the Missoula Country Detention Center that interact with people in jail to assist in giving them hope, love and a purpose in life.

We are hoping with your help to be able to assist released citizens with:
· Transportation from the detention center upon release to food, clothing, and shelter as needed.
· Provide temporary housing, group homes, or discipleship recovery homes.
· Clothing
· Food
· Support programs such as mentoring, addiction & recovery groups, life skills classes, bible studies, and faith based counseling.
· Bibles and other study related materials
· One on one letter writing, encouragement in the faith.

JAIL NEWS
CBM is off and running strong for 2024! Our word for the year is "Engage", so that means, it is time to get with it!
We are currently accessing the Missoula County Detention Center on a weekly basis. With a minimum of one team on the Men's side, and another going in on the Women's side. But would have room for a couple more teams if there is enough interest.
We have seen many break throughs in the past year, while looking forward to many more transformed lives in the future! It is just amazing on how much even a small light, will lighten up a dark place! Thank you, Jesus!!
Another exciting thing that opened up about a year and a half ago for our team, is that we have now gained access into the Montana State Prison in Deer Lodge, MT.! Was a bit nervous at first, but we were accepted pretty quickly and have been able to see the genuine side of most of the groups we have had the privilege of being to share some time with. Always good stuff!
We are currently going over there once month. Which is just the beginning of another way of making Jesus famous in a world that can be full of brokenness.
On the MSP side of things, it looks as if there could be more opportunities ahead too, providing we can get enough volunteers willing to participate. If you have any interest in get involved, feel free to reach out to us,
Future Hopes
We see the need Faith Based Halfway House here in Missoula. Which would be for inmates returning into the community that don't have family, or the resources for a place to live.
We are currently looking for individuals or groups who have the same type of vision. This is not necessarily just a CBM type dream, because we see this as God type dream. We are initially seeing the need for a Jesus based safe place to live, but as it develops the vision is to have this be the ground floor of a Men's residential type recovery facility.
